SOOP (co-CEOs Choi Young-woo and Lee Min-won) is continuing to showcase StarCraft II content by maintaining its leagues, broadcasts, and events.
In March, the first and second rounds of the team battle tournament 'GSL CK' were held. Sponsored by Intel, the event featured team-based matches with GSL players. GSL CK was designed to help players sharpen their competitive edge and showcase team strategies ahead of the regular season. 'Team Jo Seong-joo' won the first round, while 'Team Kang Min-soo' took the title in the second.
Intel will continue its sponsorship for the GSL regular season scheduled for April, working with SOOP to further grow the StarCraft II ecosystem.
Additionally, an event for StarCraft II category users is planned for late April. SOOP also intends to continue providing production support for streamers, aiming to move beyond an ecosystem reliant solely on tournaments and maintain an environment where high-quality StarCraft II content can thrive.
Meanwhile, SOOP continues to manage related content, including StarCraft II broadcasts. In March, the company provided Korean-language coverage of 'RSL Season 4' and continues to broadcast global tournaments such as the 'Kung Fu Cup' and 'Wardi Monday' in Korean.
