The 2026 LCK Challengers League (LCK CL) kicks off its fourth week of the regular season on Monday, the 20th.
Following the conclusion of the Week 3 off-broadcast matches, Dplus KIA secured sole possession of first place with 7 points after defeating T1 Esports Academy 2-0. T1 Esports Academy sits in second place with 4 points, while Nongshim RedForce holds third with 2 points.
In last week's broadcasted matches, Gen.G Global Academy snapped a four-game losing streak to record their first win of the season by defeating Kiwoom DRX. After a grueling 40-minute battle in Game 1, they secured a victory with a 10,000-gold lead, with 'Chemi' Kim Si-hun contributing significantly to the set win through explosive damage output in teamfights. In Game 2, Gen.G Global Academy effectively utilized their team strengths, with the bottom duo of 'Mudai' Lee Seon-gyu and 'Lumos' Kim Jae-min making their presence felt by rendering the opponent's pick-ban strategy ineffective. 'Courage' Jeon Hyun-min, who was named Player of the Match (POM), also led the team to victory with stellar performances in key teamfights.
KT Rolster secured a clean sweep against HanJin BRION, powered by balanced performances from both their solo laners and bottom lane. In Game 1, the solo laners stood out, anchored by 'Sero' Ahn Hyo-chan's laning advantage, while 'Sylvie' Lee Seung-bok provided support through active map presence. In Game 2, the bottom lane dictated the flow of the game, complemented by organic synergy with the top side. 'Hwichan' Jung Hwi-chan was named POM.
Hanwha Life Esports is showing a steady upward trend in performance. Although they fell behind early in Game 1 against Nongshim RedForce, they mounted a successful counterattack to secure a comeback win. 'Cracker' Lee Jung-wook was instrumental, contributing to the victory with precise CC chains and a solo kill in the mid lane. In Game 2, Nongshim RedForce attempted to leverage their laning strength to gain control, but failed to maintain momentum due to lapses in laning and teamfights. The POM award went to 'Jackal' Lee Su-min, who played stably throughout both sets and recorded only one death.
T1 Esports Academy continued their undefeated streak, moving to 5-0 after a 2-1 set victory over Dplus KIA. In Game 1, D+ KIA maintained control even after conceding the first dragon. While T1 Esports Academy found a foothold for a comeback in a top-lane skirmish, D+ KIA reclaimed control through stable macro, positioning, and teamfight focus. Notably, 'Flip' Kim Sang-wook showcased impressive defense late in the game, including a quadra kill. However, T1 Esports Academy's bottom duo stepped up in Games 2 and 3, turning the tide of the series based on the team's overall superior stats.
Dplus KIA finally broke their losing streak against BNK FEARX, which had persisted since the 2025 regular season restructuring. Dplus KIA recorded a clean win in Game 1, showcasing superior performance and pacing. In Game 2, BNK FEARX dominated throughout the game based on laning phase control, leveling the series with a stable finish. However, in the final third set, 'Shabel' Kim Dan-woo put on a dominant performance with a perfect score, leading Dplus KIA to victory.
