Nexon updated the online FPS 'Sudden Attack' on the 16th with 'Folk Village of the Winds,' a collaboration content commemorating the 30th anniversary of the service of 'The Kingdom of the Winds.'

'Folk Village of the Winds' is an event battlefield in the format of an 8v8 team deathmatch and will be operated until April 30. Contacting squirrels in the battlefield grants effects such as health recovery, increased movement speed, and acorn acquisition. Collected acorns can be exchanged for items like 'Arttan - Grandma Seonghwang Permanent' and 'Wind of the Nation Bodytan Permanent' during the 'Wind of the Nation 30th Anniversary Event,' or used in acquisition events. Rewards such as acorns, experience points, and 'Permanent Seals' can also be obtained through quests within the battlefield. This update also features improvements to the Quick Match function. Previously, the system was improved to automatically form a 5v5 team during the Lobby Entry Support to start the game or join early in the match. The 'Bread's Choice' event will also run concurrently during the same period. Players guess the choice of Bread, the official mascot of 'Sudden Attack,' and can receive voting slips by completing daily missions or using 'SP.' You can exchange Bread Coins, awarded based on the results, for items such as '[M] Winchester (IS) Marble Lv.1 Permanent' and 'TAC-9 White Tiger'. The schedule for the official e-sports tournament has also been set. The qualifiers for the 'Sudden Attack 2026 Championship Season 1' will be held on April 18 at 12:00 PM, and starting with this tournament, the qualifiers will be broadcast live on the official 'Sudden Attack' SOOP channel for the first time. Defending champion 'Perje' has secured automatic qualification for the main tournament, while the remaining 36 teams will compete for the 7 spots in the main round. In addition, a Step-Up Package containing items such as the 'Translucent Skin Permanent Box II' and 'Jinchat & Pig Function UP Selection Ticket' will be available in-game until the 23rd.
