With this, South Korea's starting roster has been confirmed as Choi 'Zeus' Woo-je, Kim 'Canyon' Geon-bu, Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok, Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyeong, and Ryu 'Keria' Min-seok.
In the previous day's match against Team USA, Kim 'Zeka' Geon-woo held down the mid lane for South Korea. Playing Anivia, Locke, and Twisted Fate, 'Zeka' dominated opponent mid laner 'AoJune' throughout the series, contributing to a 3-0 victory.
Vietnam, facing South Korea, fielded a starting roster of 'Kiaya', 'Hizto', 'Direy', 'Eddie', and 'Taki'. As they could potentially face each other again at the Asian Games itself, a fierce battle is expected.
Meanwhile, the League of Legends event at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games will run for four days from September 29 to October 2. The South Korean national team has been assigned to Group B alongside Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, and India.
