Twitch added new filters to help curb their hate bot problem.
The official US Navy went live on Twitch and featured character names that glorified the World War II bombing of Japan and a racial slur. These names were never condemned by the Navy, and people were banned from chat after repeatedly bringing up the issues with those names. Read more on the story here:
