SKT Faker: "I think having lost early on was actually beneficial for the team in the long run."

On the 10th, at the 2019 MSI, SK Telecom T1 finished the 1st day of the event with a score of 1-1. SKT's team captain, Faker, told the fans during his post-match interview of his disappointment of not having been able to win against G2.

"It's a bit unfortunate that we finished the day with a score of 1-1. We played a clean game and won against the Flash Wolves... but our match against G2 was very regretful," Faker said.

Faker then said that after his team's defeat against G2, the entire team had an hour-long feedback session to pinpoint the problem. "I believe that we were able to find what our problem was after that long and thorough feedback. During our next match against G2, we'll make sure to show better performance. I think having lost early on was actually beneficial for the team in the long run."

Faker then wrapped up the interview by stating, "Our next opponent, Phong Vũ Buffalo, is seen as one of the weaker teams in the group stage. However, we won't let our guards down no matter who we face. We'll continue to work hard and research new picks and bans strategies for the remainder of the tournament."
