According to an announcement made on MAD Lions’ social media, AD carry Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság will be officiallly leaving the team. The news comes after a report by Dot Esports that stated that Carzzy has agreed to a three-year contract with LEC's Team Vitality, joining along with stars like Luka "Perkz" Perković and Barney "Alphari" Morris. MAD Lions are reportedly set to replace Carzzy with SK Gaming Prime AD carry William "UNF0RGIVEN" Nieminen.

After dropping out in the quarterfinals of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship to DWG KIA, MAD Lions' owner Luis Miguel "Revenant" Amor Velarde faced public backlash after his denunciation of Carzzy.

"I feel sorry seeing Elyoya like that, [since] he has to carry them on his back alongside Kaiser," stated Revenant in the now-deleted tweet. "I keep thinking that Carzzy doesn’t have the level, but he gives the team things that they consider important. It’s clear to me that I’d put Flakked in the starting roster, but I don’t decide anything related to those things." Although he elaborated his comments on a stream, Revenant later deleted the post and apologized for his comments, after strong criticism arrived from the esports community.

In his two years with the European roster, Carzzy helped lead MAD Lions to become one of the most successful teams in Europe. While playing with them, he helped the LEC team reach at least the semifinals in every domestic playoffs they competed in, including back-to-back LEC titles in 2021. Internationally, he competed at Worlds twice with the lineup, and reached the semifinals of the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational.
