BlizzCon splits itself in two by color. One half of the hall sits under red light, where a row of tattoo artists work under ring lights at Hell's Ink and people queue up to get marked at a video game convention. Cross over and everything turns blue: a stone castle facade with the Mythic Dungeon International playing on a screen built into it, picnic tables full of people eating pizza while they watch, a Jaina statue drawing a crowd, prop weapons roped off on plinths. In between, a bracelet-making table, which is not what most people picture when they picture BlizzCon. Costumes everywhere, including at least one duck. Here's some of what we saw.
