The 2026 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) bracket stage match between Lion and FURIA, held at the Daejeon Convention Center's Exhibition Hall 2 on the 4th, ended in a 3-0 victory for Lion.

FURIA drew first blood when 'Tuts' on Ryze won a 1v1 duel against 'Saint' on Syndra. Shortly after, FlyQuest's 'Saint' on Syndra, assisted by 'Inspired', took down 'Tuts' on Ryze to even the score. FURIA was the more aggressive side early on, committing multiple players to the top lane to pressure 'Dhokla' on Jayce and secure a kill.

Perhaps due to taking down Jayce twice, 'Guigo' on Sion held a CS lead and played a stable laning phase in the top lane. However, FlyQuest maintained an edge in macro, securing two Dragon stacks and a slight gold lead. FURIA responded in the bottom lane as Sion solo-killed Jayce, and they later pushed FlyQuest away from the Rift Herald to claim the objective.

FURIA then won a teamfight at the Dragon pit as a well-fed Sion rotated in. After winning the fight, they secured Baron to take control of the game. Although FURIA continued to build their lead by securing the Dragon Soul, FlyQuest stayed focused in late-game teamfights, effectively neutralizing the gold gap. After a back-and-forth struggle, FlyQuest won the final teamfight, closing out a 44-minute marathon to take the first game.

In Game 2, FURIA once again started strong, catching FlyQuest's Camille Supporter twice early on. While FURIA defended well against FlyQuest's attacks in the top lane, FlyQuest remained superior in macro, holding a narrow gold lead. FURIA racked up many kills through various skirmishes, but FlyQuest's macro advantage persisted, and they eventually won the decisive mid-to-late game teamfights to take a 2-0 lead.

In Game 3, FlyQuest looked to empower 'Dhokla' on Varus, with 'Inspired' on Lee Sin securing a kill on 'Guigo's' Olaf via a top-lane gank. The action centered on the top side of the map, with both teams trading kills to sit at 2-2 early. FlyQuest then scored a massive victory in a mid-lane skirmish, destroyed the mid-tier 1 tower, and used their numbers advantage to secure Baron at 20 minutes. They cruised to victory from there, destroying FURIA's Nexus in 28 minutes to seal the series.
