In the DRX Homefront match held in Hanoi, Vietnam, DRX fell to Gen.G with a 0-2 loss. Amidst the cheers of Vietnamese fans, DRX was unable to execute their planned aggressive playstyle and had to accept a disappointing result.
After the match, Son 'Ucal' Woo-hyeon maintained a composed attitude regarding the team's internal issues. He pointed to a slight communication breakdown during a skirmish in the first set and expressed his determination to thoroughly address the weaknesses exposed by this defeat.

Q. How does it feel to play an LCK match in Hanoi, Vietnam?
I’ve never played at Worlds overseas, but I imagine this is what it feels like. It’s a great experience.
Q. How has the practice environment and local adjustment been in Hanoi?
It was less hot than I expected. I’m a fan of Vietnamese rice, and the food suits me well, so there haven't been any major issues.
Q. You lost 0-2. It must be disappointing to feel like you couldn't show what you had prepared, right?
It was a very disappointing match. We couldn't show the aggressive playstyle we had prepared. We need to prepare well for the match against Hanwha Life.
Q. What was the most regrettable part of today's match?
While the second set felt like a natural defeat, in the first set, there was a brief communication error between the mid and bottom lanes during a river skirmish. That part is what I regret most.
Q. Did you get to scrim with any Vietnamese teams?
Due to our schedule, we weren't able to scrim, so we focused on our internal pick-and-ban strategy and direction by observing other teams' matches.
Q. I heard you've taken a liking to the local food. What was the best thing you ate?
All the rice dishes are delicious, but the fruit is truly amazing, and it's much cheaper than in Korea, which is great. I highly recommend it.
Q. You have a match against Hanwha Life in two days. What is your mindset heading into that?
Many of our issues were exposed in the Gen.G match. I want to prepare really well for the next game and show a satisfactory performance, regardless of the win or loss.
Q. Lastly, a word for the fans.
The Vietnamese fans welcomed us so passionately that I could really feel the heat of the crowd. I think you must be disappointed because today was such a one-sided loss. We will make sure to show a different side of ourselves in the next match.
