On the 8th, Gen.G secured a clean 2-0 victory against DRX at the Hanoi Convention Center in Vietnam. Despite having limited preparation time, Gen.G displayed overwhelming performance in both games.
Below is the post-match interview with the Gen.G squad held on-site.

Q. How do you feel about your sweep in Hanoi?
Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: I’m happy we won 2-0 with a strong performance in front of our Vietnamese fans.
'Kiin': I’m happy we won 2-0, which was cleaner than I expected.
'Canyon': I really wanted to win since coming to Vietnam, so I’m glad we did.
'Chovy': Winning 2-0 and having the special experience of meeting fans in Vietnam makes it even better.
'Ruler': I’m happy because I felt our performance was solid.
'Duro': I’m glad we won with a strong performance from the laning phase until the end.
Q. You didn't have much preparation time after Wednesday's match, did you?
Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: The schedule was a bit tough, but we went with compositions we are confident in, and the players executed them well, which led to the win.
Q. Even though it was an away game, there were many Gen.G fans. How do you feel about that?
'Kiin': I was surprised that so many fans showed up. Opportunities like this are rare, so it was great, and I hope we have more chances like this in the future.
'Canyon': The fans cheered so hard, and their energy was amazing. I’m very grateful to them.
'Chovy': It was great to hear the fans cheering so loudly. I think it was a special experience for both the fans and the players.
'Ruler': It’s a very demanding schedule, but hearing the fans' support made my fatigue disappear. I’m so thankful.
'Duro': The Vietnamese fans were even louder than I expected. Playing while hearing that kind of support made today a very special and valuable day.
Q. What was the background behind picking Top Shen?
Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: We used it because we had previously lost to a similar composition at First Stand.
'Kiin': My use of W during the laning phase went really well. I’m personally satisfied with it.
Q. Why did you choose Kog'Maw-Lulu?
Head Coach Yoo Sang-wook: Lucian-Milio is picked often. We have many cards to counter that, and we judged that Kog'Maw-Lulu was a good fit for today's composition.
'Ruler': Against Lucian-Milio, using Ashe-Seraphine or an ADC paired with Lulu is a good way to handle them.
Q. (To 'Ruler') What is your assessment of your opponent, 'Pleata' (Lazyfeel)?
'Ruler': I think 'Pleata' is a player with great mechanics and excellent skill shots.
Q. There are many people in Vietnam who dream of becoming pro gamers by watching 'Chovy'. Do you have any advice for them.
'Chovy': I’m cautious about giving advice, but I hope they think carefully about whether they truly want to be a pro gamer.
