Gen.G claimed a clean 2-0 victory over KDF (Kwangdong Freecs) at the DRX Homefront.
The match between Gen.G and KDF, held on the 8th at the Vietnam National Convention Center in Hanoi, ended in a 2-0 win for Gen.G. Gen.G’s overwhelming strength led to KDF's defeat in both games.

In the first game, Gen.G traded one kill for three in the opening dragon fight. In a subsequent bottom-lane skirmish, Gen.G successfully traded, losing only 'Canyon's' Pantheon while taking down the KDF bottom duo. By effectively snowballing their lead, they seized control of the game early. KDF attempted a desperate play in the top lane to turn things around, but Pantheon secured a triple kill, leading to a landslide victory that saw Gen.G pull ahead by over 7k gold by the 16-minute mark.
Giving KDF no room to breathe, Gen.G continued to snowball their lead. They won a decisive mid-lane team fight at 23 minutes, extending their lead to over 10k gold and securing Baron Nashor. Continuing their one-sided assault, Gen.G destroyed KDF's Nexus at 27 minutes and 59 seconds to take the first game.
In the second game, 'Canyon's' Naafiri and 'Willer's' Xin Zhao engaged in a tense standoff that naturally gravitated toward the bottom lane. Xin Zhao, holding a health advantage, initiated a gank, but 'Duro's' Lulu responded perfectly, turning the fight around to secure the first kill.
Gen.G used that first kill to snowball, with Naafiri reaching level 6 first and hunting down Xin Zhao in the river to add another kill. KDF managed to secure the dragon, and with 'Rich's' Renekton joining the bottom lane, they were able to take down 'Ruler's' Kog'Maw.
KDF's bottom lane targeted Kog'Maw again, but Gen.G's defensive response was excellent. After taking down Lucian, Gen.G had 'Canyon's' Naafiri join the fray to eliminate Milio as well. They then picked off 'Rich's' Renekton and 'Ucal's' Viktor in the top lane, widening the gold gap to over 5k. While the situation was dire for KDF, they were at least able to secure two dragon stacks.
After a massive victory in a mid-lane team fight, Gen.G naturally transitioned to Baron and took it down. After resetting, they used the Baron buff to further snowball their lead. Although KDF managed to take down Kog'Maw, Shen, and Annie near their blue buff, Naafiri secured a triple kill to close out the fight, and Gen.G claimed the dragon. With the power gap already insurmountable, Gen.G cruised to victory in the second game, completing a 2-0 sweep at the DRX Homefront.
