The stage is set for the upcoming 2023 LCK Summer Split Playoffs, scheduled to begin on Aug. 8. The matchups for all six qualifying teams have been decided after an intense battle for the 6th spot, culminating in DRX securing the last playoffs spot.

Finishing the regular season in 3rd place, Hanwha Life Esports has chosen DRX as their first-round opponent in the playoffs. The two teams will kick off the playoffs at 5 PM (KST) on the 8th. The remaining two teams, Dplus KIA and T1, will face each other in the match scheduled for the 9th.

The top two teams, KT Rolster and Gen.G, will begin their playoffs journey from Round 2. KT Rolster, achieving a blazing 16-game winning streak, claimed the top spot in the regular season and earned the right to select the opponent from the first round winners. Aug. 10, KT Rolster will face off against their selection of the winners from the first-round match, and on the 11th, Gen.G will play against the remaining winner.

The 3rd round matches will take place on the 12th and 13th of the month. The victorious team from the matchup between the second round winners will advance directly to the grand finals, while the losing team will move to the finals qualifiers. The second round losers will also clash in a showdown to compete to fill the other spot in the finals qualifiers.

The 2023 LCK Summer Split finals qualifiers and finals will be held on the 19th and 20th of August in Daejeon, South Korea. The ultimate champion will earn the 1st seed slot for the World Championship held in Korea.
