DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM) has won the 2023 LJL Spring title with a 3-0 victory over Sengoku Gaming. This is DFM's 15th trophy in the LJL and their fifth consecutive title since the 2020 Spring season. DFM will also head to the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational with the Spring title.

It was Sengoku Gaming who finished in first place during the 2023 LJL spring regular season with a 13-1 record. DFM was second with 12 wins and 2 losses, but at the end of the day, it was DFM who was the best in the LJL. DFM filled the void in their top lane with Haruki "tol2" Shibata as Shunsuke "Evi" Murase left the team prior to this season.

DFM headed straight to round 2 of the playoffs, where they swept Softbank Hawks 3-0. In the finals, they swept Sengoku Gaming 3-0 to secure the championship and the single ticket to MSI 2023.

DFM will begin their MSI 2023 journey in the play-in stage, where they will have to compete against seven different teams for three tickets to the bracket stage. Up to now, five teams have confirmed a spot in the play-in stage: DFM, LOUD, Bilibili Gaming, Golden Guardians, and Movistar R7. The remaining three teams will be decided Apr. 23, after the champions of the LEC and VCS are confirmed.
