Seaphine joins Ahri for rehearsal

The League of Legends Worlds Championship is about to kick off in style. With the media preview event happening today, Head of Riot Music Group Toa Dunn made a special appearance to announce K/DA has yet another song to be released on stage, featuring rookie artist Seraphine.

The mystery around whether the bright-haired singer is just a character, or a champion, which abilities she has and whatnot has not yet been solved, but we are closer to finding out more about her as the debut of her participation with the K-Pop group gets closer. Toa Dunn shared his excitement after “hacking” his way into the broadcast, talking about the success of the music group and the collaboration with the new artist:

“K/DA will be performing a new song at Worlds 2020 [...] featuring a wide-range of talent, including familiar collaborators and new voices. One such voice will be Seraphine, an exciting new artist. She will be joining K/DA on stage for the live performance.”

It seems that stardom is just around the corner for the singer, as she recently tweeted “didn’t think I’d have to leave my day job so soon… I’m actually going to miss working here”, just before she left her mundane career as a barista at a boba shop in Los Angeles, California.
