Rookie will be missing some games for iG due to family health issues.

Invictus Gaming announced through their Weibo that Song “Rookie” Eui-jin will be missing some matches due to his family health issues. Rookie will be returning to Korea to take care of his family. The date of his return is not yet determined. In his place, Invictus Gaming will be starting their academy mid laner, Deng “Xin” Jie (New ID: Forge) in Rookie’s spot.

Invictus Gaming recently finished the MSI, in which they lost to Team Liquid in the semifinals. They are currently at 9th place with a 1-2 record in the 2019 LPL Summer Split, and will play their next match against EDward Gaming on Saturday.
