KT Lee Ji-hun to Step Down From the Coaching Position. Oh Chang-jong Will Fill in His Spot

'kt Rolster' just announced that 'Lee Ji-hun' will be stepping down from the coaching position at the end of the 2017 Season.

On September, Lee notified the organization that the team had been underperforming due to his incompetence and has revealed his intentions to step down from the coaching position. After an evaluation procedure, the organization respected Lee's decision and agreed to let him go when his current contract expires.

In the year 2000, Lee joined the organization as a FIFA player and has achieved 10 titles in the FIFA league. In 2008, Lee was given the head coach position for StarCraft, having won the 'StarCraft Pro League' title two years in a row; '2009-2010' and '2010-2011'. Then in 2014, Lee achieved an LCK title in the Summer.

"It's really sad that I will be departing from the organization that I've spent so much of my years in... but the responsibility of the poor results I made during the season is too heavy for me to continue," he said. He continued, stating, "I'm exhausted both physically and mentally, as I have been working nonstop for 15 years. I want to apologize to all the fans... but I will return anew, soon."

On the other hand, as an expression of gratitude, the owner and players of kt Rolster held a ceremony; awarding Lee with an appreciation plaque and the "Lucky Golden Key".
