The First Sports Fantasy App Designed from the Ground up for Gamers Adds Hockey and Unlockable Sports and Esports Superstars

In case you missed the news, mobile gaming innovator HypSports (made up of veterans from EA Sports, Zynga and FanDuel) just announced some great news for hockey fans and for videogamers that enjoy sports but haven't found a fantasy sports format they really like.

Unlike HypSports, most other fantasy sports platforms are either expensive with a low win probability or feel more like a sports statistics exam than a fun sports-focused mobile game. HypSports is the first truly cross-sports, year-round fantasy platform that you can play all season long (including throughout the playoffs and across multiple sports and esports), designed specifically for gamers by a very talented team that bleeds sports, fantasy sports and mobile games. It’s available free on Android and iOS devices, as well as on Facebook.

For the NHL 2017-18 season, hockey joins HypSports’ existing lineup of pro sports and esports leagues, including football, basketball, baseball and esports' League of Legends (with support for more esports titles and leagues coming soon). HypSports players can now add hockey players to their fantasy rosters and pit them against the lineups of other players in head-to-head competitions.

HypSports also introduced the Collections feature, a new way for players to collect, craft and upgrade their way to the ultimate roster. By collecting specific items players can now unlock high-value rewards — including a coveted MVP hockey superstar forward, wing or goalie — or players from any of the other supported sports.
