Scopely Explore announced on October 22 that it will hold the "Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026" event in Monster Hunter Now from October 26 to November 8. Along with reissuing limited-time equipment, the event will boost the new skill effect of the Jack-o'-Head by 10 times and double monster part break rewards.
The returning armor pieces are the Jack-o'-Head and Ghost Balloon. Equipping the Jack-o'-Head as armor activates the new skill Partbreaker (Halloween). During the event period, the boosted skill effect increases accumulated damage dealt to breakable parts by 50%.
Bonuses also apply to hunting and material gathering. Group hunt rewards are added, and the interaction range expands by 1.5 times. The amount of materials obtained from small monsters and gathering points is doubled.
The two limited-time weapons, Skullwhistle and Squawkscythe, also return, unlocking style customization. Reduced material requirements for upgrading limited-time equipment will remain in effect until November 15. During this period, equipment can be upgraded up to a certain grade using only dedicated upgrade tickets.
At the Event Exchange Hub, tokens collected through slaying large monsters and breaking parts can be traded for the new Harvest Cloak layered equipment. The new leg armor, Scarecrow Legs, comes with Critical Ferocity Lv2.
In the second half of the event starting November 2, players can obtain EX Exchange Tokens by slaying or breaking parts on Kulu-Ya-Ku carrying pumpkin rocks. The EX Exchange Hub opening on the same day accepts these tokens, with exchange items including Riftborne Black Diablos Carapace, Aurora Somnacanth Finefin, and limited-time Ultra Hunting Tickets.
