Gamewoori Hanuri announced that it officially released the physical standard edition of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 for PS5 on the 22nd. The game features Korean subtitle support, and co-op player capacity has been expanded from 3 to up to 4 players.
The game follows the survival battles of a Marine squad deployed to a colony in the Alien universe. Players team up with squadmates to ambush or fight off swarms of 'Xenomorphs'. Each class features unique tactical abilities and playstyles, altering combat strategies based on squad composition.
In addition to weapons and equipment, players can mix and match class abilities. The 'Specialist' is a customizable class that allows players to combine primary and secondary abilities from all available classes. Players configure their gear and abilities to match their personal combat style and the role needed for their squad.
New types of 'Xenomorphs' also make an appearance. In combat, players can utilize stun batons for melee encounters, as well as incendiary rounds and electroshock rounds to deal with oncoming waves of enemies. Enemies stalk players along corridors or ambush them from the shadows, requiring players to stay vigilant and adapt to the situation.
'Horde Mode' features dedicated maps. Squads face continuous onslaughts of enemies, including 'Xenomorphs,' earning greater rewards the longer they survive against increasingly fierce attacks.
