Nexon announced on the 21st that it will hold the 2026 eK League FC Mobile Family Cup, a family tournament for EA SPORTS FC Mobile (hereinafter FC Mobile), in partnership with the Korea Professional Football League (K League). Parents and children will participate as two-person teams, competing to represent 12 K League clubs.
The tournament consists of club representative qualifiers and a grand final to determine the winning family. The qualifiers will begin in Ulsan and Gimcheon on the 24th and take place sequentially, with interested families able to register on-site without prior application.
Qualifier rankings will be determined by adding up the parent's and child's scores after each plays 'VS Attack' mode on their respective accounts. If the combined scores are tied, the team with the child's higher score takes priority, and if still tied, priority goes to the team with the younger child.
The main event featuring the representative families of the 12 clubs will take place on December 6 at 4:00 PM at Samsung FreecUP Studio. The final winning family will be decided through a four-team playoff tournament. The final matches will be broadcast live on FC Mobile's SOOP and CHZZK channels, as well as the official K League YouTube channel.
All representative families of the clubs will be provided with a two-day, one-night stay at Walkerhill on the day of the finals and invited to the K League Awards held on December 7. A new Family Cup category will be introduced at this year's awards ceremony to honor the winning family. The champion and runner-up families will receive the latest smartphones.
Further details about the tournament can be found on the official FC Mobile community.
