GentleManiac Inc. plans to carry out an update on October 22, adding new character 'Mu Yingying' and a Halloween event to Horizon Walker. The 'Stigmata' system used for character progression will also be revamped.
The 'Stigmata' overhaul will assign new grades to the system. Players will be able to obtain higher-grade 'Stigmata' and equip them onto characters to make them stronger than before.
The newly joining 'Mu Yingying' is the Chief of the Secret Protection Division at the Rift Management Bureau and the Guardian of Thunder. Despite her youthful appearance, she is a veteran who has spent years in the field, struggling to prevent the shutdown and merger of the Secret Protection Division. This update will also introduce affection content for 'Mu Yingying'.
The story of 'Mu Yingying' will also be featured in the Halloween event story, 'Night of Lies: Trick or Twin'. Along with this, an exclusive Succubus-themed costume will be added. This costume changes not only the character's appearance, but also her weapon and dialogue within affection content.
GentleManiac CEO Tae-woong Lee stated, "In this update, we focused on enabling players to experience the charm of the new character Mu Yingying through various content." He added, "We will do our best so that players can enjoy the Halloween atmosphere within Horizon Walker as well."
Horizon Walker is a mobile real-strategy SRPG developed and published by GentleManiac. It is available on mobile and PC platforms, and news regarding the game can be found on its official Naver Lounge.
