On October 21, Smilegate introduced a PC payment feature and a discount system called 'Eclipse Point (ECP)' to its MMORPG Eclipse: The Awakening, while launching a 10% points reward event running through November 30.
The newly introduced 'Eclipse Point' system allows users to accumulate a portion of the amount spent on PC payments and use it for discounts on future PC purchases. Earned points are distributed two weeks after the actual purchase date.
To celebrate the launch of the PC payment system, Smilegate is hosting an 'Eclipse Point Bonus Accumulation Event' through November 30. During this period, users who make payments on PC will receive 10% of their total payment amount back in Eclipse Points.
While retaining the intrinsic MMORPG enjoyment of combat and progression, Eclipse has drawn positive responses from a wide audience by reducing fatigue associated with competition and login demands. Previously, on October 8, Smilegate added servers to the new world 'Celine' to provide a smooth gaming environment. In addition, through a regular update on October 21, the developer raised the game's overall quality by introducing new sub-quests that help players experience the game's lore in greater depth.
Detailed information regarding the newly introduced PC payment system and the Eclipse Point reward event can be found on the official Eclipse: The Awakening community.
