Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-gyu) announced on the 21st that it has added a new 5-star Wind-attribute character, 'Chloe', to the monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE (developed by Netmarble Monster, PC/Mobile) and introduced a variety of commemorative content, including a three-week special event story.
The newly joining 5-star character 'Chloe' is a Wind-attribute martial artist who fights using fists and kicks. Befitting her moniker, "an unstoppable runaway train that crashes without slowing down," she employs a destructive combat style. She made a name for herself as a martial artist before 'Nirvan' fell, carrying a backstory of having rescued countless lives with unwavering conviction and hope even amidst the collapse of the world.
To commemorate the arrival of the new character, a special event story, 'Road to a Broken Heart,' will be open for the next three weeks. Players can experience Chloe's hidden backstory through the story and use currencies obtained by completing missions, clearing dungeons, and participating in the mini-game 'Passionate Training!' to claim various rewards, including summon tickets and Live Backgrounds.
In addition, events such as 'Special Missions with Chloe' and 'Chloe's 7-Day Gifts' have been prepared, granting participants rewards like a 'Mutant Monsterling Selection Box' and summon tickets. Furthermore, to celebrate the game's half-anniversary, a second 'Half Anniversary Rerun Recruitment' is being held, offering another opportunity to obtain existing popular characters 'Esde' and 'Nagi' along with their exclusive artifacts.
On October 28, entering the second week of the update, the Halloween seasonal event 'Night March' will kick off, alongside the reveal of a new seasonal costume for Esde, 'Alluring Devil of the Night Esde.' In addition, to celebrate the half-anniversary of MONGIL: STAR DIVE, an offline merchandise store is scheduled to open from October 31 to November 16 at Ttabae Mall on the 3rd floor of the International Electronics Center, with detailed schedules and information to be announced later.
Detailed information regarding this new update and various events for MONGIL: STAR DIVE can be found on the official website and forum.
