The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) announced on October 21 that it is accepting applications from companies and organizations to participate in the 2026 On-Site Amateur Tournament through October 30.
Eligible applicants include companies, institutions, local governments, and state-owned enterprises seeking to host internal esports tournaments, inter-organizational matches, or inter-departmental competitions. After submitting an application via Google Forms, KeSPA will review the proposal, conduct an on-site infrastructure inspection, finalize the schedule, and run the tournament.
The On-Site Amateur Tournament is a program where KeSPA visits company and organizational venues to support equipment setup and match operations. Depending on the needs of the participating organization, featured games include FC Online, League of Legends, VALORANT, and StarCraft.
Certified referees and professional operational staff dispatched to the site manage tournament operations, including bracket creation and official rule enforcement. KeSPA also provides tournament equipment rentals and network inspections to help organizations without existing infrastructure host their own competitions.
KeSPA also offers customized bracket setups and event management tailored to specific objectives, such as company athletic days or workshops. Depending on event scale and organization preferences, participating entities can expand prize pools and side activities using their own budgets.
Through this program, KeSPA aims to broaden the foundation of amateur esports participation to office workers and adults while helping foster a healthy leisure culture. The initiative also aims to promote communication and unity among employees through esports and lower intergenerational barriers.
Any company, institution, local government, or state-owned enterprise wishing to host internal esports tournaments, inter-organizational matches, or inter-departmental competitions can apply for the 2026 On-Site Amateur Tournament. Interested organizations can submit their applications via Google Forms through Friday, October 30. The selection process includes application submission, proposal review, on-site infrastructure inspection, schedule confirmation, and tournament execution. Inquiries can be submitted via email to the Ecosystem Building Team under KeSPA's Planning Bureau.
