Yostar Games has launched the 1st anniversary update for Stella Sora, its light-action fantasy role-playing game (RPG), adding a limited 5-star character named Firstlight Noya plus a special main-story chapter, Wholeness at Reunion's Dawn.
According to a release, the game turned one on October 19th 2026 (Pacific time). The press kit lists November 9th as the end date for the anniversary events. Players who log in during the event can claim 100 free limited recruit tickets; Yostar also released a 1st anniversary special livestream, which is up on YouTube.
Like most gacha games, Stella Sora hands out new characters (here called Trekkers) through recruitment banners, which are random draws. Limited banners stay up for a set window only. Then they're gone.
Firstlight Noya and the anniversary banners
Firstlight Noya is a Lux Vanguard. She fights with two blades, the greatsword Daybreak and the longsword Dawn, in what the release calls ‘a captivating warrior style’. Her banner, At the First Piercing Light, opened after maintenance ended on October 20th, with a higher recruit rate for Noya.
A matching Disc banner, Resolve at the Tip of My Sword, runs alongside it. Its draw is a new limited 5-star Disc, The Star of Dawn That Guides the Way; the release describes it as set to ‘a bright and resolute melody’. Both banners are time-limited.
There is also an exclusive anniversary banner: One Starlit Year, One Destined Reunion. The One Starlit Year, Wishes Unfold login event is where the 100 Fated Reunion Limited Tickets come from. Hitting set totals of cumulative recruits unlocks the Fated Reunion: Rainbow Disc Pack and the Fated Reunion: Stellar Resume Pack.
The gifts don't stop there. Logging in during the event unlocks a free Noya outfit, A Moment's Rest by Your Side. A second login event, Back to the Starlit Path, adds 20 Destined Dawn Limited Tickets plus 6,000 Destined Dawn Limited Discs.
New story chapter and permanent modes
Wholeness at Reunion's Dawn opens with the Tyrant (the player's character) waking from ‘a sorrowful dream’ to find their companions gone. Far off stands a vast, spotless city that seems ‘frozen in eternity’. Why the Tyrant came alone, and where the others went, are the chapter's open questions.
Two modes are now permanent. Tyrant's Tower Beta is a camp and housing mode: players lay out their Monolith and campsites, collect furniture and decorations, then build resting spaces to share with their Trekkers. Through Hostile Depths is a board-based tactics mode. Players set a lineup (and its positions) before planning moves against tough foes.
Vigor Reserve and Vita Delegation have also become permanent features. So have Story Recaps for past events. Yostar points players to the official Stella Sora website and the game's X account for future updates.
