FingerLaserX launched simultaneously worldwide on Android and iOS on October 20. The game supports 10 languages, including Korean, and features three laser types, five gear types, and over 40 missions at launch.
The defense shooter was rebuilt from the ground up over five years by a solo Taiwanese developer, based on FingerLaser, which they created in 2012. Supported operating environments are Android 7.0 or higher and iOS 15 or higher.
Players defend their base against enemy waves and colossal bosses. Swiping a finger toward enemies fires a laser, while pressing and holding the screen charges up a stronger laser that fires upon swiping.
It can be played offline without logging in, and there is no stamina system. Ads are strictly opt-in rewarded ads chosen by the player. Following launch, new lasers, gear, and enemies will be sequentially added through updates.
