Lionheart Studio announced on the 20th that it has established a sports team for athletes with disabilities and hired three bowling athletes belonging to the Chungcheongbuk-do Para Bowling Association.
The establishment of the sports team was promoted to expand employment opportunities and jobs for people with disabilities. The company plans to provide stable salaries along with health checkups, group accident insurance, and support for family events so that the athletes can focus on training and competition. Benefits also include Lunar New Year and Chuseok holiday gifts, birthday gifts, and paid leave.
The founding ceremony for the team was held on the 19th. Athletes with disabilities, their guardians, Lionheart Studio Chairman Kim Jae-young, Vice President Lee Han-soon, and others attended to celebrate the launch and cheer on the athletes' future performance.
In addition to founding the sports team, Lionheart Studio is continuing its initiatives to promote employment for individuals with disabilities through hiring visually impaired massage therapists (health keepers) and establishing linked employment contracts with Bear.Better, a standard workplace for people with disabilities.
Chairman Kim Jae-young said, "We will spare no effort in supporting these highly skilled athletes so they can demonstrate their abilities in a stable environment," adding, "We will continue to provide various employment opportunities and carry out activities to fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
