Alphascan Display has launched the 3426Q120P, a 34-inch flat ultrawide monitor supporting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and USB-C connectivity.
The new monitor features a 21:9 aspect ratio and UWQHD (3440×1440) resolution. According to Alphascan, its horizontal workspace is approximately 34% wider than that of a standard 16:9 QHD (2560×1440) display. Multiple application windows can be arranged across the center of the screen without bezel interruptions, and users can also utilize the Screen+ screen-splitting software. It is suited for placing documents and reference materials side by side or viewing extended video editing timelines.
Its image quality specs center on a Deep Black IPS panel with a 2,000:1 contrast ratio—double the contrast ratio of typical 1,000:1 IPS panels—along with color gamut coverage of DCI-P3 95% and sRGB 100%. Brightness reaches 400 cd/m² with HDR10 support, and viewing angles are 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically.
The maximum 120Hz refresh rate enhances smoothness during document navigation, web page scrolling, and screen transitions. Adaptive Sync synchronizes the graphics card's frame rate with the monitor's refresh rate to minimize screen tearing and stuttering, backed by a 5ms (GTG) response time. An in-game crosshair feature is also included.
Input options consist of USB-C, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and one DP 1.4 port. The USB-C port transmits video and audio from laptops, smartphones, and tablets supporting DP Alt Mode over a single cable while providing up to 15W of power delivery to connected devices. Audio is delivered via two built-in 2W speakers.
The monitor adopts a 3-sided borderless design on the top, left, and right, finished in matte black with rear LED lighting. The included stand supports height adjustment, swivel, and tilt. Standard 75×75mm VESA mounting holes are provided for attaching monitor arms or wall mounts.
Tailored for long-hour usage environments, it incorporates an anti-glare panel to diminish reflections, Flicker-Free technology to reduce screen flickering, and Low Blue Light modes to lower blue light exposure. The flat display format helps maintain visual accuracy when working with straight lines and layouts in documents, spreadsheets, and graphic design.
An Alphascan representative stated, “The 3426Q120P was designed for users who need a spacious workspace, enabling them to handle various tasks efficiently on a single flat ultrawide screen without the hassle of a multi-monitor setup,” adding, “It combines panel performance, connectivity convenience, and ergonomic design to cover everything from document and data handling to content editing and media consumption.”
