According to Nexon (Co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) on October 19, 'MapleM CELEBRAT10N DAY'—an offline event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the mobile MMORPG MapleStory M—successfully concluded on October 17 at MAPLE AGIT in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Designed to commemorate 10 years of service alongside players who have enjoyed the game over the decade, the event invited ticket holders across two sessions in a single day.
On the day of the event, Executive Director Kim Hyun-seung personally greeted visiting players, sharing his thoughts on reaching the 10th anniversary and expressing his gratitude. He then took the stage alongside MC Rena to introduce the day's full program and schedule of activities to attendees.
The official program kicked off with "Memjalal Hanmadang," a team quiz segment. A total of 10 questions related to MapleStory M were featured, ranging from high-difficulty trivia to unique questions asking players to identify skills from drawings made by staff members, giving team members a fun opportunity to solve problems together.
Next was the "AGIT Hanmadang" session, where attendees could freely enjoy various hands-on interactive activities set up throughout the venue. Among these, the "Boss Hanmadang" corner featured a speedrun competition to defeat Hard-difficulty bosses "Azazel" and "Kalos" as fast as possible, with generous rewards awarded to the top 5 record holders for each boss. During this time, Executive Director Kim Hyun-seung also visited players at their seats to listen to their feedback and engage directly with attendees.
Additionally, in the "Letter Hanmadang" area, visiting players freely wrote down their memories from playing MapleStory M over the years and messages they wished to leave for the development team. The second half of the event featured an awards ceremony and a lucky draw with attendees before bringing the 10th anniversary celebration to a close.
