Playwith Korea announced that pre-downloading for its new MMORPG, Seal M2, will begin on October 19 at 11:00 AM for mobile and PC platforms ahead of its official launch on October 22. The company also released a world lore video along with a showcase video featuring three major content systems.
Pre-downloads will remain available until the official release. By platform, mobile users can download the game via Google Play and the Apple App Store, while PC users can download it through the official website. Pre-registration will also continue until official service begins on October 22.
The newly released video introduces 'Tower of Sage', 'Field Boss', and 'Battlefield of Challenge', which focus on floor progression, cooperation, and competition, respectively. In 'Tower of Sage', players tackle monsters that grow stronger as they ascend each floor, while in 'Field Boss', multiple players unite to challenge powerful boss monsters. Operated on a seasonal basis, 'Battlefield of Challenge' is content where players can test their combat prowess against each other. The video highlights the unique characteristics of each feature through a parody of popular television shows.
The world lore video employs a webtoon format. It portrays the process of the chaotic world of 'Shiltz' restoring peace through reconciliation, followed by a new unexpected plot twist.
Seal M2 is an MMORPG that inherits the spirit and sentiment of the original Seal Online and its predecessor Seal M. Reimagining combat, progression, collection, cooperation, and competitive content with a modern touch, the title is sequentially revealing gameplay videos and detailed information across its official channels.
A representative from Playwith Korea stated, "We have initiated pre-downloads to ensure a smooth launch environment for players who have been eagerly awaiting official service," adding, "We hope players enjoy a preliminary look at the diverse gameplay Seal M2 has to offer alongside the released content videos."
