The Esports Awards has named the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County as the venue for its 2026 ceremony, which takes place in Miami, Florida, on November 17th. Thunderpick presents the show.
According to a release, the night will bring together leading players, teams, creators and industry figures to mark the people and moments that defined the past year in esports. The organiser bills it as ‘the biggest and most prestigious night in esports’. Fan voting is still open.
The Adrienne Arsht Center sits in downtown Miami; the release calls it one of the largest performing arts centres in the United States. Its usual bill ranges from touring Broadway musicals to Miami-based theatre (with jazz and classical concerts in between).
“We’re thrilled to bring the Esports Awards to the Adrienne Arsht Center this November. Miami provides an exciting setting to bring our global community together, and we look forward to recognising the players, teams, creators and industry figures who have shaped the past year in esports,” said Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards.
Johann Zietsman, President and CEO of the Adrienne Arsht Center, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Esports Awards to the Adrienne Arsht Center. The ceremony brings together a global community to celebrate talent, creativity and achievement, and we look forward to hosting the people who are shaping esports and gaming.”
Side events and hotel rates
The ceremony isn’t the only date on the schedule. The 2026 programme also includes the Esports Awards Invitational, a Lifetime Achievement Mixer and the PWR UP B2B (business-to-business) Conference; the release pitches them as a place for the industry to network and talk shop.
Guests can also book discounted rooms at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay by contacting the Esports Awards team. Those rates are for event guests only.
Fan voting closes November 10th
Fans can vote on the Esports Awards site until November 10th. The last week counts for more. During Turbo Week (November 3rd to November 10th), every vote carries double weight in the final push.
Six partners back this year’s show. Alongside Thunderpick, they are Esports World Cup, Oakley, Hotspawn, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau and Miami DDA.
