Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles launches FINAL FANTASY VII themed menu

Add us on

Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles has launched a limited-time FINAL FANTASY VII menu at its Little Tokyo location, with themed food, drinks and collectible giveaways available from today, October 16th, until January 21st 2027.

According to a release, the dishes and drinks are built around characters and locations from FINAL FANTASY VII. The selection will rotate during the promotion. Press photos shared with the announcement include Cloud’s Dark Omelette Rice and a Creamy Moogle Manju served with Mako-Infused Tea; the release says each one is meant to reflect ‘the tone and personality’ of the character behind it.

The collaboration comes in two parts. Part One runs from October 16th to December 3rd 2026, and Part Two from December 4th 2026 to January 21st 2027. Each part has its own set of collectible coasters, available only in that window. Both the menu and the coaster giveaway last while supplies do.

Placemats and coasters

The cafe is also adding new FINAL FANTASY VII designs to its existing giveaways. Guests with a table reservation get a randomly selected placemat featuring Square Enix series, now with new FINAL FANTASY VII artwork among them. Guests who want to keep one can have it laminated at a station in the cafe (for an extra fee).

Coasters work the same way. Every food, drink or dessert item ordered comes with one random coaster, drawn from various Square Enix series with the new FINAL FANTASY VII designs included.

Hours and location

The cafe sits at 316 E 1st St. in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo. Opening hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays and from Thursday to Sunday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays only the shop is open, from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tables can be booked through OpenTable, and more details are on the official Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles site.

Square Enix Cafe & Shop Los Angeles is an officially licensed Square Enix dining and retail venue. Its shop sells official merchandise, including exclusive apparel. Dining guests are greeted by hand-drawn wall art from character designer Tetsuya Nomura.
