Ahead of its release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 has released a collaboration theme song with Korean rappers.
On the 16th, a 3-minute, 25-second audio track titled 'C.R.E.A.M. (Modern Warfare 4 Remix)' was released on Wu-Tang Clan's official YouTube channel. The released track is a remix of Wu-Tang Clan's 'C.R.E.A.M.', which was used in early campaign cutscenes and previous trailers, featuring collaborations from Lee Young-ji, Jay Park, and E SENS. Previously, a rap verse presumed to be Lee Young-ji's voice appeared in a 30-second Shorts trailer, sparking speculation among players that a Korea-exclusive track might be released.
This is not the first time the Call of Duty series has collaborated on music with Korean rappers. Previously, ahead of the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, a music collaboration was held with Swings and Giriboy.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which released this collaboration track with Korean rappers, will launch campaign early access for pre-order customers starting on the 17th, Korea Standard Time. The campaign is set in South Korea following the outbreak of a Second Korean War caused by a full-scale invasion by North Korea, alternating between the stories of Private Park Hyun-jun entering his first combat mission and Captain Price, who has turned into a rogue agent.
