Studiobside announced that it updated the collectible nurturing RPG Star Savior with a new event story, 'A Warrior's Heart! A Volunteer's Heart!', on October 15. The pick-up banner for 'Readymade Puppy: Lydia' also began on the same day.
'Readymade Puppy: Lydia' is an empowered damage dealer who builds stacks in response to attacks from a designated ally. She participates in combat by detonating accumulated stacks all at once to deal damage. The pick-up banner for another character appearing in this story, 'Sharp & Sweet: Ceres', is scheduled to run following regular maintenance on October 29.
The setting for the new event is the Western Region, where the Void Core has disappeared. It follows the suspicious volunteer activities of the Western Reclamation Force and the secrets surrounding flowers left by the previous reclamation commander. Ahead of the update, Studiobside released a promotional video (PV) introducing the event on its official channel.
Update commemorative rewards can be earned by completing in-game missions or logging in during the event period. Rewards include 'Observation Tickets' used for free observations, along with growth materials.
Prior to the update, Star Savior also participated in Illustar Fes 14, held over two days from October 10 to 11 at KINTEX in Ilsan. At its booth, the team connected with players while handing out merchandise and drinks to visitors.
