Tabletop TD will officially launch on Steam on November 6 at 3:00 a.m. KST. Developed by hummmmmmm and published by Leveritt Studio, it is a 1- to 4-player online co-op random tower defense game.
Ahead of launch, a demo allowing players to experience online co-op will be featured at Steam Next Fest. The event runs from 2:00 a.m. on the 20th to 2:00 a.m. on the 27th.
Players sit around a table in a tavern, defending their respective boards. Up to four players can play together and help each other by placing pieces on another player's board. As long as at least one player remains, play at the table continues.
Towers used for defense are drawn using gold coins, then picked up by hand and placed on the board. Because enemies continuously move along the rail around the edge of the board, players must block them by placing towers beside the rail. The player who holds out before their board fills up with enemies wins.
As waves progress, eras advance from Primitive to Bronze, Iron, Modern, and Future, with a boss appearing at each transition. Towers in each era are divided into single-target, area-of-effect (AoE), support, and anti-air types. Placing three towers of the same type onto the merge slot upgrades them by one tier without failure. The full version will also include an 'Endless Mode'.
The game supports Windows PC and will be available in Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. Streaming and video monetization are permitted without prior approval, and the game features sound effects only, with no background music.
