Nexon announced on October 15 that it will host autumn celebratory events and a new content update for MapleStory: Idle RPG, a mobile idle RPG co-developed with Able Games, ahead of its first service anniversary in November.
Running until November 4, 'Witch's Candy Gift' is an event where players who defeat 1,000 monsters daily receive one of four headwear costumes. The rewards consist of the 'Cat-o'-Lantern Mask', 'Frankenstein Mask', 'Dracula Mask', and 'Werewolf Mask'. If a player obtains a mask they already own, it is replaced with a 'Candy Booster' that increases EXP gains and provides useful stat buffs for hunting. Players who complete cumulative missions can also receive the hat costume 'Witch Hat' and the chair item 'Candy Rich Chair' as additional rewards.
The new content includes the weapon tier 'Eternity' and the Guild Raid 'Pink Bean'. 'Eternity' is added as a tier above the previous highest weapon tier, 'Ancient'. In the Guild Raid, up to eight members of the same guild can form a party to defeat 'Pink Bean' within a set time limit and revival limit. Rewards such as the 'Pink Holy Cup' and 'Pink Bean's Scroll' are distributed based on damage dealt to the boss, and a dedicated medal is awarded upon completely defeating the boss.
A Chaos difficulty has been newly introduced to the Party Quest 'Romeo and Juliet'. Players who complete it can acquire the top-tier Legendary equipment 'Alchemist's Ring'. To celebrate the new difficulty, Nexon will run a two-week 'Burning UP' event from October 22 to November 4, increasing chances to acquire the reward equipment from the quest.
Events granting growth materials through logging in and attendance have also been prepared. Running until November 4, 'Mysterious October, with Mekki!' grants growth materials such as 'Weapon Summon Tickets' whenever daily cumulative playtime reaches specified thresholds. In the '1st Anniversary Eve' event held from October 22 to November 4, players can receive attendance rewards including 'Additional Cubes' and 'Red Diamonds'.
Detailed information on each event is available on the official MapleStory: Idle RPG community.
