On October 13, Nexon updated the subculture RPG 'Blue Archive' with the new event story 'Storm Passes, Clear Sky' and added two new swimsuit-themed students.
The new event story, 'Storm Passes, Clear Sky,' follows students from Shanhaijing Senior High School who go on vacation to a valley village. It depicts their journey to discover the true role of adults while guiding trouble-making kindergarteners.
Players can complete event stories and quests to earn event currencies such as 'Audit Plans' and 'Facility Entry Tickets.' These currencies can be exchanged in the event shop for various items, including 'Tactical Training BD (Shanhaijing)' and 'Technical Notes (Shanhaijing).' Clearing stages in the high-difficulty Challenge content rewards 30 Pyroxenes per stage, while completing the final 'Challenge EX' stage grants 5 Secret Tech Sheet Fragments.
Along with the story, new students 'Kisaki (Swimsuit)' and 'Shun (Swimsuit)' have been added. 'Kisaki (Swimsuit)' is a Sonic-type Supporter whose EX Skill, 'Execution: Calisthenics,' changes to 'Declaration: Closed Today' after being used twice. This skill supports combat by increasing Skill Cost recovery speed and reducing the Skill Cost of three Striker-type allies.
'Shun (Swimsuit)' is a Sonic-type Dealer who can enhance 'Flower Buds' obtained during battle up to 3 stages over time, consuming them to deal heavy damage to a single enemy. She can also transform into 'Shuerin (Swimsuit)' during combat, unleashing powerful attacks while having her Attack power reduced up to 3 times as a trade-off.
Meanwhile, Nexon will hold an offline event, the '5th Anniversary Festival,' on November 7 and 8 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of 'Blue Archive''s global service. The festival will allow players to experience the game's world and characters through fan-created content booths and a variety of on-site programs.
