Mobile merge-and-idle game Polaria: Ocean Friends, published by SuperJoy and developed by Minyamo Games, is conducting a closed beta test (CBT) on ONE Store's Beta Game Zone from October 12 to 25.
Test participants can play the game in ONE Store's Beta Game Zone. Among users who complete the CBT survey, 100 winners will be selected to receive 10,000 ONE Store points each, with further details available in the Beta Game Zone. This test will evaluate the mobile-tailored gameplay experience and gather user feedback.
Polaria: Ocean Friends is a casual Android game offering idle gameplay set in the Antarctic Ocean, where players grow fish through merging. While preserving the Antarctic theme and soothing, healing aesthetic of the original Polaria released on Steam and STOVE, the game's design has been revamped around fish merging and idle mechanics for easy play on mobile devices.
At the core of the game's design is a world building rooted in Glocal the BON CEO Han Dong-won's actual Antarctic experiences, alongside Nambingi Friends, a polar marine life character IP.
A representative from SuperJoy stated, "We have redesigned the game so it can be enjoyed more easily on mobile while maintaining the mood of the original title. Based on the feedback received during this CBT, we will refine and polish the game ahead of its official release."
