Magic Dolls have arrived in Lineage Classic. Magic Dolls are a system that provides buffs to your character while summoned for a set duration, increasing various stats such as Damage, Hit Rate, AC, Max HP/MP, and MP Recovery depending on their tier.
To summon a doll, you need an item called a Summon Stone, and higher-tier dolls can only be obtained through synthesis, so there is quite a bit to keep track of if you are encountering the system for the first time. Here is a complete guide covering everything from how to obtain dolls, synthesis rates, tier stats, to tips on sourcing Summon Stones.
How to Obtain Dolls Buying Arca's Pouches and Synthesizing 4 Dolls
Tier 1 dolls can be obtained from the Magic Doll Master Arca in Giran Village. Purchasing and opening 'Arca's Magic Doll Pouch' sold by Arca gives one of six Tier 1 Magic Dolls at random. The price is 220,000 adena per pouch based on a 10% tax rate.
To obtain higher-tier dolls, you must attempt synthesis. Clicking the 'Magic Doll Synthesis' button at the bottom right of your inventory opens the synthesis window, where you can combine 4 dolls of the same tier as materials.
| Synthesis Tier | Materials | Additional Materials | Success Rate | Failure Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 to Tier 2 | 4 Tier 1 Dolls | None | 40% | 60% |
| Tier 2 to Tier 3 | 4 Tier 2 Dolls | 1 each of High-grade Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire | 30% | 70% |
If Tier 1 to Tier 2 synthesis succeeds, you receive 1 random Tier 2 doll; if it fails, you get back 1 Tier 1 doll of the same tier as the materials. Tier 2 to Tier 3 synthesis requires 1 of each of the four high-grade gems in addition to 4 dolls, and with the success rate dropping to 30%, the burden is significant.
· Even if Tier 1 synthesis fails, 1 Tier 1 doll remains, but 3 of the 4 materials are lost
· Preparing materials solely through pouches costs 880,000 adena for 4 Tier 1 dolls
· Synthesis results are random, so there is no guarantee you will get the doll you want

Summoning via Summon Stones 1, 2, or 3 Summon Stones by Tier; Lasts 30 Minutes
To receive the effects of a Magic Doll, you must consume Summon Stones to summon it. The required number of Summon Stones depends on the doll's tier: Tier 1 requires 1 stone, Tier 2 requires 2 stones, and Tier 3 requires 3 stones. Regardless of tier, a single summon lasts for 30 minutes.
| Tier | Required Summon Stones | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 1 | 30 minutes |
| Tier 2 | 2 | 30 minutes |
| Tier 3 | 3 | 30 minutes |
Since you can only purchase 10 Summon Stones per account per day from the Wandering Merchant, you need to secure plenty of Summon Stones if you want to keep higher-tier dolls active for extended periods.

Tips for Using Magic Dolls Choose a Doll Suited to Your Class and Consider Buying via Trade
Magic Dolls are tradeable. If pulling and synthesizing the doll you need yourself feels too burdensome, buying one sold by another player can be a safer approach.
Since each doll offers different stats and synergy varies by class, there is no single best choice. Currently, Tier 2 dolls like the Cockatrice and Succubus are popular, but it is difficult to guarantee that these trends will hold in the long run.
Magic Dolls grant buffs for 30 minutes using 1–3 Summon Stones. Stockpile Summon Stones while the Wandering Merchant is active, and choose a doll suited to your class by weighing direct pulls against purchasing through trade.
