A new enchantment event, "Clear Autumn Challenge," is underway in Lineage Classic. In this event, players purchase event-exclusive equipment, enchant it using exclusive scrolls, and if they reach the target enchantment level, they will receive actual equipment in exchange after the event ends.
This time, four types of Dragon Scale Armor have been added to the lineup alongside existing high-tier weapons, allowing players to try out a wider variety of equipment. However, considering the enchantment probability and cost, it is better to set a clear goal before jumping in rather than participating blindly. Here is a summary of the available equipment, probabilities, and expected costs to reach the target enchantment level.
Equipment for Sale and Prices 5 High-Tier Weapons · 4 Dragon Scale Armors
For weapons, five types are available: Clear Ssaulabi Longsword, Moon Longbow, Thunder Sword, Angel's Staff, and Sayha's Bow, ranging in price from a minimum of 80,000 to a maximum of 500,000 Adena. For armor, four types of Clear Dragon Scale Armor are available—Water Dragon, Earth Dragon, Fire Dragon, and Wind Dragon—all priced at 150,000 Adena each. Exclusive enchantment scrolls cost 15,000 Adena for both weapons and armor.
The stats of the equipment are identical to actual items, but they are time-limited. Clear equipment can also be traded between players. To purchase weapons, armor, and scrolls, visit Asir (weapons) and Riley (armor) next to the Internet Cafe Vendor in the northeast section of Giran Town Square.

Enchantment Probability Weapons Have Probabilities Starting at +7, Armor Starting at +5
Clear weapons can only be enchanted with Clear Scrolls for Enchant Weapon, and Clear armor can only be enchanted with Clear Scrolls for Enchant Armor. Unlike regular gear, the probabilities are set separately. Weapons are safe and reach up to +6 with a 100% success rate, but starting at +7, the rate is about 33%, with the final +10 step set at 10%. Armor has a 100% success rate up to +4, then decreases step by step to 55% for +5 and 44% for +6, ending at 10% for +9.
| Enchantment Level | Clear Weapon | Clear Armor |
|---|---|---|
| +1 ~ +4 | 100% | 100% |
| +5 | 100% | 55% |
| +6 | 100% | 44% |
| +7 ~ +8 | Approx. 33% | Approx. 33% |
| +9 | Approx. 33% | 10% |
| +10 | 10% | Goal Achieved |
Clear weapons successfully enchanted to +10 and Clear armor successfully enchanted to +9 will be replaced with +0 regular weapons and armor after the event ends. In short, this item exchange is the practical reward of this event.
· Clear equipment will be deleted in bulk on October 14
· If your goal is just to use mid-level enchanted gear for about two weeks, it is better to save your Adena
· If you choose to participate, aim to achieve +10 for weapons or +9 for armor to exchange them for actual gear
Expected Cost to Reach Target Enchantment Level Weapon +10 Requires Approx. 270 Attempts; Armor +9 Requires Approx. 372 Attempts
So how much will it cost to reach the target enchantment? Based on the probabilities above, assuming a player buys a new piece of equipment after an enchantment failure and starts over from +0, we calculated the average Adena cost (expected value) to reach the target. A probability of approx. 33% was calculated as 1/3.
According to the calculations, a single attempt to achieve +10 weapon has a success rate of about 0.37%, meaning an average of 270 pieces of equipment are consumed for one success. Armor +9 has a success rate of about 0.27%, requiring an average of 372 pieces. Even the cheapest options—Thunder Sword and Angel's Staff—have expected costs exceeding 50 million Adena, while Sayha's Bow exceeds 160 million Adena.
| Equipment | Success Rate (Per Attempt) | Equipment Consumed (Average) | Expected Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ssaulabi Longsword +10 | Approx. 0.37% | 270 | Approx. 70.8 million |
| Moon Longbow +10 | Approx. 0.37% | 270 | Approx. 57.3 million |
| Thunder Sword +10 | Approx. 0.37% | 270 | Approx. 51.9 million |
| Angel's Staff +10 | Approx. 0.37% | 270 | Approx. 51.9 million |
| Sayha's Bow +10 | Approx. 0.37% | 270 | Approx. 165.3 million |
| Dragon Scale Armor +9 (All 4 types) | Approx. 0.27% | Approx. 372 | Approx. 88.7 million |
| Unit: Adena · Average cost per attempt (+0 to success or failure) is approx. 262,000 for Ssaulabi Longsword, approx. 212,000 for Moon Longbow, approx. 192,000 for Thunder Sword and Angel's Staff, approx. 612,000 for Sayha's Bow, and approx. 238,000 for Dragon Scale Armor | |||
· Assumes equipment disappears upon enchantment failure and a new piece is attempted starting from +0
· Uses an average of approx. 2,020 scrolls to reach +10 weapon, and approx. 2,194 scrolls to reach +9 armor
· Expected cost is an average value. Depending on luck, actual costs may be significantly lower or higher
· Equipment is sold only until October 7, so you must secure the necessary quantity beforehand
Ultimately, in terms of expected cost, buying the item directly is far cheaper. While trying your luck lightly once or twice is fine, pouring excessive Adena into the event solely to target the exchange reward is not recommended.
If you plan to use Clear equipment temporarily and discard it, it is a waste of Adena; if you target the exchange, the expected cost exceeds at least 50 million Adena. Buying the actual equipment is better than making an unreasonable attempt.
