Pawprint Studio announced on the 14th that it has selected singer and TV personality Chuu (Kim Ji-woo) as the official model for its cross-platform open-world monster-capturing RPG 'Aniimo'.
Pawprint Studio released a new promotional video featuring Chuu bonding with the fantasy creatures known as Aniimo. The studio plans to continue showcasing various content alongside Chuu moving forward.
A brand collaboration with No Brand Burger is also underway. The studio plans to introduce special themed locations among stores nationwide and host pop-up events for players to participate in. Detailed program information will be released later on the official 'Aniimo' social media channels.
The "Aniimo, to the PC Cafe!" event targeting domestic PC cafe users will run from the 16th through PICA and GetO. Players who play the game for at least 30 minutes daily at a PC cafe will receive 2,000 points.
OBT rewards celebrating the achievement of global pre-registration milestones have also been prepared. Players can obtain a Lumin Aniimo along with decorative items, capture items, Aniimo eggs, and cosmetic costumes through pre-registration milestone rewards, launch login events, and gameplay.
The pre-launch team creation web event will run until the 27th. Inviting friends on the official website to form a 6-player adventure party earns the 'Champion Aniipod' reward, and logging into the web page daily offers up to 7 types of login rewards, including growth items.
The development team at Pawprint Studio stated, "We are glad to share Aniimo's unique warm and adorable charm with more players through our promotional content with Chuu and the collaboration with No Brand Burger."
'Aniimo' is a multiplayer monster-capturing RPG where players collect and bond with over 200 species of fantasy creatures while exploring the continent of Idyll. A key feature allows players to transform into an Aniimo and explore the world from that creature's perspective.
Pre-downloads for the PC and console versions are currently available. The PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox versions are scheduled to launch on the 16th, with the mobile version following on the 23rd.
