It has been confirmed that Chrono Studio, developer of 'Chrono Odyssey', has filed a trademark application for 'GREEN DAWN' with the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
According to trademark information from the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Chrono Studio filed the 'GREEN DAWN' trademark on the 8th. The application falls under Class 42, which includes computer and software services. The current legal status is listed as 'Application Filed,' awaiting examination. It has not yet been registered, and no public notice of publication or registration decision has been issued.
The logo design featured in the accompanying trademark sample catches the eye. Among the eight letters of 'GREEN DAWN', the three letters in GRE'EN' and 'D'AWN are highlighted in orange, forming the word 'END' stacked vertically. At the bottom of the logo, a silhouette of a hunched, zombie-like figure is also positioned. Hiding 'End' within the hopeful word 'Dawn' suggests a post-apocalyptic setting. However, this is strictly an interpretation based on the logo design and is not an official setting disclosed by the studio.
Chrono Studio is a subsidiary of NPIXEL currently developing the next-generation action MMORPG 'Chrono Odyssey'. 'Chrono Odyssey' is being prepared for PC and console platforms, with Kakao Games handling domestic and global publishing.
Meanwhile, trademark applications are filed for various purposes, including brand securing or defense, so a filing alone does not guarantee the development or release of a new game. Chrono Studio has not officially disclosed the specific details or plans for 'GREEN DAWN'.
