Riot Games announced on September 7 that Korea's Chan-seo "seoill" Park won the official esports Pro Circuit 'Riftbeast Cup' for its strategy game 'Teamfight Tactics (TFT)'.
The 'Riftbeast Cup' is one of three Cup tournaments in the 'Pro Circuit', TFT's Tier 1 competitive circuit. The top 32 players from each region compete for prize money and spots at the global championship, with the winner earning direct qualification for the premier event, the 'Tactician's Crown'.
seoill competed in last year's 'K.O. Coliseum Tactician's Crown' and became the first Korean player to win a Pro Circuit title at the 'Stargazer Cup' in May. With this victory, he recorded his second Pro Circuit title of the year.
seoill maintained a spot at the top of the standings by placing 5th on Day 1 and 2nd on Day 2 of the tournament. On Day 3, he reached the 20-point threshold in just three games, and after securing a 'Defender' Emblem in the final sixth game, he sealed the championship with smart positioning decisions. Ju-han "steelo of bora" Kim also finished 4th, placing two Korean players in the top eight.

The second Pro Circuit tournament of 'TFT' esports, the 'Elderwood Cup', will begin on September 18. The premier event, 'Tactician's Crown', is scheduled to take place in November.
