On September 5, Qookka Games launched 'Byeongyeon Chunqiu', a global server-exclusive original scenario for its mobile strategy simulation game (SLG) 'Three Kingdoms Tactics'.
'Byeongyeon Chunqiu' is a scenario inspired by the strategies and challenges presented by global server players. The development team explained that they finalized the content through discussions and testing to offer strategic fun distinct from existing battlefields.
The core elements are 'Troop Modification' and 'Policy Essentials'. Through Troop Modification, players can customize 16 troop types in the game and develop elite troop tactics with various effects. In Policy Essentials, players can execute strategies tailored to battlefield situations, such as increasing resource acquisition speed or enhancing officer stats using decree buffs.
A new officer celebrating the 40th anniversary of 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms', '40th Anniversary Lu Bu', was also added. This officer possesses the new unique tactic 'Cheonwi Hyojin' and is provided to all players for free alongside the scenario's launch.
According to Qookka Games, strong player participation and enthusiasm have continued since launch. The development team previously expressed their gratitude to global server players and introduced the production process of 'Byeongyeon Chunqiu' through a prologue video.
The 'Three Kingdoms Tactics' development team stated, "The relentless strategic research and challenges of global server players became the greatest driving force behind the creation of 'Byeongyeon Chunqiu'."
