Joycity announced on September 7 that 'FreeStyle Football 2', a new soccer game currently under development by its subsidiary Ure, ranked 1st in the sports category and 11th overall across all genres for anticipated Steam releases at PAX West 2026.
'FreeStyle Football 2' topped the sports category on Steam's "PAX Featured Trending Wishlisted" list released in conjunction with the event. During the event period, it ranked 11th overall across all genres.
Joycity operated a dedicated demo booth at PAX West. On-site, attendees were able to experience gameplay centered on controlling a single character per player and 5v5 team play.
The company also conducted a Prime Open Beta Test (OBT) for global players. Joycity plans to refine the game further before its official release based on user feedback collected during the test.

'FreeStyle Football 2' is a new title being developed by the original development team behind the online sports game 'FreeStyle' series. It is scheduled for a global release in Q4 2026 on PC (Steam) and console platforms.
