Gen.G won Game 3 following Game 2 to take a 2-1 lead. Now just one win away, Gen.G is on the verge of becoming the first team to reach the Grand Finals.

In Game 3, both teams focused on farming rather than active skirmishing for the first 10 minutes. Hanwha Life Esports made the first move, committing multiple players to the top lane to take down Kiin's Gwen for first blood. Shortly after, Gen.G retaliated by investing heavily top to kill Zeus's Camille.

With an extra kill and a slight edge in macro play, Hanwha Life Esports was unwilling to yield the next Dragon to Gen.G. Despite Hanwha Life holding the gold lead, Gen.G won the teamfight behind Chovy's aggro juggling on Akali, securing their third Dragon stack. Gen.G then targeted Camille alone in the bottom lane, coming out further ahead as both teams collapsed before starting Baron. Although Gen.G successfully secured Baron, Hanwha Life won the ensuing fight and wiped out every Gen.G player carrying the Baron buff.

Afterward, Gen.G won a teamfight at Dragon to secure an early Dragon Soul, continuing to win subsequent fights to widen the gap. Demolishing the inner mid tower and inhibitor, Gen.G quickly expanded their gold lead to 7,000. Hanwha Life faltered rapidly, and Gen.G relentlessly pressed forward to destroy Hanwha Life's Nexus in Game 3, making it 2-1 and moving within one win of reaching the Grand Finals.
