Gen.G defeated Hanwha Life Esports after a 45-minute marathon to tie the series 1-1. It was a match filled with continuous, high-level teamfights from both sides.

'Kanavi's Qiyana secured First Blood by Flashing over the wall at the enemy Raptor camp to catch 'Chovy's Locke. Gen.G answered back in the top lane as Locke roamed top to take down 'Zeus's Ambessa alongside 'Kiin's Rumble. After trading another kill each, Hanwha Life Esports caught 'Duro's Shen in the bottom lane, giving Qiyana 3 kills within the first 10 minutes.

Shortly after, a major skirmish broke out near the dragon, where 'Chovy's Locke secured a triple kill, allowing Gen.G to gain a significant advantage. However, Hanwha Life Esports responded with a successful dive in the bottom lane to recoup most of their losses. In a subsequent mid-lane teamfight, both teams showcased superb combat skills in a near-even clash, though Hanwha Life came out slightly ahead.

By the 24-minute mark, Hanwha Life Esports held a slight 1,000 gold lead. After winning a teamfight in front of the dragon with clean skill chains, Hanwha Life headed to Baron. Outnumbered, Gen.G fought back as 'Ruler's Jhin targeted the enemies with his ultimate while Locke and Shen quickly joined the fray. Although Gen.G surrendered Baron, they picked up multiple kills in return. With the gold gap remaining small, Gen.G began finding picks on enemy champions with Jarvan IV and Locke, causing Hanwha Life to falter.

Another major teamfight erupted around the dragon contest. Hanwha Life struck first by taking down 'Canyon's Jarvan IV, but expended many abilities in the process. With no tools left to contain Locke, Locke went on a rampage, leading Gen.G to a teamfight win and allowing them to secure Baron. Hanwha Life managed a silver lining by taking the dragon, denying Gen.G the Dragon Soul. Shortly after during a mid-lane standoff, the teams traded 2-for-2, but Locke joined via Teleport from a flank to eliminate Syndra. However, Hanwha Life won the remaining fight in the top lane, closing much of the gold deficit they had accumulated.

As the match crossed the 40-minute mark, it reached the point where a single teamfight would decide victory or defeat. Gen.G started Baron quickly and secured it, forcing Hanwha Life to retreat and focus on defense. A massive fight then broke out ahead of the dragon, leaving 2 survivors for Gen.G and 3 for Hanwha Life, setting the stage for yet another showdown. With many Summoner Spells burned from the previous fight, extreme caution was required. However, 'Canyon's Jarvan IV was caught out, putting Gen.G in a perilous situation.

This time, Hanwha Life also made a mistake. Qiyana drew turret aggro and died fruitlessly after an overaggressive play. The momentum shifted back to Gen.G, who pushed through to destroy Hanwha Life's Nexus after a 45-minute marathon, tying the series at 1-1.
