Dplus KIA successfully struck back in Game 2 to tie the series 1-1. Although they faced a threat of a comeback from kt Rolster's resilience, they held on to claim victory in the end.

In Game 2, 'Smash' Sin Geum-jae and 'Career' Oh Hyeong-seok, playing the Lucian-Milio duo, created the first crack in the opponent's defense. They picked up a duo kill on 'Effort' Lee Sang-ho's Lulu and secured the first dragon off that advantage. In response, kt Rolster moved their bottom duo to the top lane to push down the tower, but in the meantime, Lucian was farming solo and scaling smoothly.

Even so, kt Rolster continued to move as a unit. While 'Siwoo' Jeon Si-woo's Vayne cleared the top lane, kt attempted to secure a larger advantage in the bottom lane using their numerical superiority. However, Dplus KIA counterattacked around the strength of Lucian to trade kills, and scored further points in the dragon teamfight thanks to the performances of Lucian and Vayne. 'Lucid' Choi Yong-hyeok's Naafiri also stole a dragon.

KT Rolster, who had been on the back foot, caught a breather by collapsing on Dplus KIA as they hit Baron, forcing an even trade. They also denied Dplus KIA the Dragon Soul. Then around the 29-minute mark, kt Rolster caught an engaging Naafiri for a kill, and flipped the momentum by taking down both Lucian and Orianna, who lacked Flash from the earlier Baron fight. They secured Baron as well.

Around the 33-minute mark, Dplus KIA's Soul dragon spawned once again. With Naafiri getting caught first, it seemed as though Dplus KIA would lose the fight, but Lucian found a damage angle and shut down 'Bdd' Gwak Bo-seong's Ryze with immense firepower. This allowed Dplus KIA to complete the Cloud Soul. Although a crisis arose when Lucian was caught attempting to target the enemy ADC, Dplus KIA weathered it by taking down 'PerfecT' Lee Seung-min's Olaf.

KT Rolster decided to burst down Baron before Lucian returned, but it proved to be a bad move. 'Lucid' stole Baron with Smite, and Lulu, who failed to catch Ryze's Realm Warp, was also eliminated. Although Vayne was picked off, Dplus KIA managed to stall out that period, ultimately scoring a clean Ace in the final teamfight to seal a hard-fought match.
