Devsisters' TCG CookieRun Card Game will enter the European market in January 2027. Along with the launch of its 13th booster pack, the game will introduce "Brave League," an Organized Play program hosted at local card shops.
Devsisters (CEO Cho Gil-hyun) announced that its trading card game (TCG) CookieRun: Braverse Card Game (hereinafter referred to as CookieRun Card Game) will officially launch in Europe at the end of January 2027.
Simultaneously with its European expansion, CookieRun Card Game will launch "Brave League," an Organized Play program held at local card shops. Devsisters plans to build an environment where local players can continuously enjoy the game through regular tournament operations.
Following its entry into North America, this expansion into Europe was pursued to secure a player and collector base in a new market. After entering the North American market in July last year, CookieRun Card Game officially launched on single-card trading platform TCGplayer.
Local distribution in Europe will be handled by three specialized TCG distributors: Blackfire, Cube Golem, and Bliss Distribution. Blackfire is a leading European TCG and hobby game distributor under board game publisher and distributor Asmodee Group, and has supported the operation of Organized Play for major global TCGs.
According to global market research firm Straits Research, the European collectible card game market size last year was estimated at approximately $4.28 billion. In Korean won, this is approximately 5.8 trillion won, representing about 40% of the US market. The number of specialized TCG stores operating across Europe was estimated at around 5,000.
Ahead of its official European launch, Devsisters will participate in "SPIEL Essen 2026" in Germany, which will be held in late October. On-site, the company will operate programs such as tutorial sessions and demo deck distribution, while building a partner network for running Organized Play in Europe.
In the United States, Devsisters is newly collaborating with major TCG distributors Peach State Hobby Distribution (PHD) and Universal Distribution US. Including the existing partner ACD Distribution, the company plans to expand its US distribution partners to a total of three and increase retail outlets and sales channels.
